I read this from a user on ZDNET- it fit my thoughts exactly..
1) I refuse to do business with a cartel that considers me a thief and felon who is guilty until proven innocent.
2) I refuse to do business with a cartel who uses their monopoly position to oppress independent artists and any attempts to distribute works of art outside of the cartel's control.
3) I refuse to do business with a cartel who uses massive bribes (excuse me, "campaign contributions") to buy laws that restrict the progress of technology, and destroy my privacy and civil liberties.
4) I refuse to do business with a cartel who bribes radio and cable stations (excuse me, "offers promotion incentives and marketing initiatives") in a pecuniary attempt to limit and direct our musical choices to their price-fixed products.
5) I refuse to do business with a cartel who has been found guilty of numerous acts of price-fixing, collusion, anti-trust violations, and even outright extortion and bribery. If they are looking for criminals with known criminal history, they need to look no further than their own mirror.
6) I refuse to do business with a cartel who is destroying the careful balance of a copyright law that provided equal benefits to both public and private interests. Their intended goal is a tight set of media oligarchs, who bleed the public with government enforcers to strong-arm anyone who threaten their Congress-granted profits.
